  3. Definitions

    Coins means the virtual currency purchasable and/or earnable on the Service, used to unlock chapters, purchase memberships, or send gifts. Coins have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, and are not your personal property.

    Digital Content means stories, chapters, episodes, and related art, audio, or other media made available through the Service.

    User Postings means any content — text, images, comments, reviews, uploaded chapters — that you or other users submit to the Service.

  4. Accounts and Eligibility

    You must be at least [AGE] years old to create an account. If you're a minor in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. You're responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account.

  5. License to Digital Content

    Purchasing or unlocking a chapter grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and read that content for personal, non-commercial use. You do not own the underlying content, and you may not copy, redistribute, or resell it.

  6. Coins, Chapter Unlocks, and Memberships

    Coins may be purchased with real money or earned through in-app activity, and are spent to unlock individual chapters, purchase a membership plan, or send gifts to creators. Coin prices, unlock costs, and membership benefits are set by Mywebtales and may change at any time; the terms in effect when you spend Coins apply to that transaction. Coin purchases are generally final and non-refundable except as required by law or at our discretion.

    Memberships (if offered) may auto-renew at the price and interval disclosed at signup. You can cancel before the next renewal to avoid being charged again.

  7. Gifting

    Gifts sent to creators using Coins are final once sent and cannot be exchanged back into Coins or cash. Gifting features may be subject to daily or per-transaction limits, and misuse (e.g., using gifting to circumvent payment rules) may result in suspension.

  8. Creator Program and Contracts

    Authors who publish through our Canvas or contracted-author programs are subject to a separate contract governing royalties, exclusivity, content ownership, and payout terms, in addition to these Terms. Where the two conflict on author-specific matters, the individual author contract controls.

  9. User Postings License

    By posting content to the Service, you grant Mywebtales a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and promote that content on the Service and in marketing for the Service, for as long as it remains posted (or as otherwise specified in your creator contract). You retain ownership of your original work.

  10. Acceptable Use

    You agree not to scrape or harvest data from the Service, impersonate others, circumvent payment or content-protection systems, upload infringing or illegal content, or otherwise interfere with the Service's operation.

  11. Termination

    You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these Terms, at our discretion, with or without notice.

  12. Disclaimer of Warranties

    THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

  13. Limitation of Liability

    TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYWEBTALES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.
